천년의 달, 천년의 미소를 품고 있는 골굴사에서,

만월의 기운을 듬뿍 받으며 특별한 추석 템플스테이를 진행합니다.

"움직이는 선의 향기" 선무도와 선무드라 그리고 달빛명상을 함께 할 수 있는

그윽한 명상의 세계로 들어 오십시오.

무거운 몸과 마음이 지친일상에서 벗어나 달빛과 함께 살아 숨쉬는

선무도의 세계로 여러분을 초대합니다.

Chuseok (Korean: 추석), originally known as Hangawi (한가위), from archaic Korean for “the great middle (of autumn)”), is a major harvest festival and a three-day holiday in Korea celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar. This year, Chuseok falls on September 6th through 9th.

In Golgulsa we will be offering special templestay programm to celebrate Chuseok. We invite everyone to experience Seon Mudra Dance and moonlight meditation beside Hamwol mountain. We will also pick pine needles together and we will help making –and eating – Songpyeon, the traditional Korean rice cake. You will be able to experience Barugoniang (traditional Ceremonial Buddhist meal), enjoy the tea ceremony with our Grandmaster and take part in Memorial Service commended for the Ancestors.

Moonlight meditation and Sunmudra

- 솔잎 따기, 송편 빚기, 발우공양, 주지스님과 차담
Collect pine needles and help make -and eat- Songpyeon, the traditional Korean rice cake.
Experience Barugongjang (traditional ceremonial meal) and enjoy a tea ceremony with our Grandmaster.

- 합동차례지내기, 전통 민속놀이(윷놀이, 제기차기), 국궁체험
Memorial service for ancestors and traditional folk games actually Gukgung.

- 성지순례(기림사와 문무대왕 수중릉, 감은사지-추가비용 있습니다.)
Optional excursion to local historic sites of interest, including Girimsa Temple, underwater tomb of King Munmu the Great and an ancient Pagoda site.
